Homeschooling Year Reflection (free printable)

"We don't learn by doing, we learn by reflecting on what we've done." -unknown

Purging and prioritizing is not easy, but so worth it. Did you know it's ok to re-evaluate and reset your homeschool lifestyle? Yes! It's ok! As a matter of fact reflection is so necessary. As you can see my learning center needs some maintenance....actually it needs an overhaul! lol. Here are some things that I am doing to set myself up for success for the new upcoming year:

Pondering about the school year and asking myself some of the following questions:

  1. What has worked?

  2. What has not worked?

  3. What were the parent triggers ?

  4. What were the student triggers? *triggers are areas of frustration

  5. When did the family feel the most fulfilled in our homeschool?

Determining whether something is useful and necessary for the homeschool dynamic, and also focusing on the homeschool win! Determination will keep you moving forward. Here are some things to consider:

  1. Have we used it in the last 6 months?

  2. Will we need it in the next 6 months?

  3. What is the win for the day/week/month year?

A little short and sweet way of sharing my homeschool heart with yours. OH! Here is a printable I made to help me write down my thoughts. (click here)

Big HUG and happy homeschooling!
